NBC’s Wired is a ministry designed to engage 5th-8th students with the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through focussed bible studies, times of worship, & intentional small groups, students will be encouraged & equipped to take ownership of their faith. Wired seeks to partner with parents to better understand & communicate with their children as they develop into teenagers.
New for Wired families is the opportunity to share in the same corporate worship experience at 11am on Sundays. We are moving to the Worship Center and will be sitting toward the front as a group. Students are welcomed to join our middle school ministry or sit with their family either way. In fact, Wired families can join us toward the front as well. What an exciting opportunity this is to worship together and leave each Sunday with the ability to discuss the sermon and scripture as a family!
Cox Center Downtown
Our 7th & 8th grade Sunday morning bible study will be starting a new Gospel Project series that will highlight the importance of having a “God-Centered Worldview” in this day and age. This study will also address some of the big questions and debates within the Christian faith. Meanwhile, our 5th & 6th grade students will continue in a Bible Studies for Life curriculum that will focus on many practical issues that all preteens face. Both studies will carry throughout the winter season. Groups will meet at 9:30a in the Warehouse (5th & 6th in the Main Room, 7th & 8th in the Yellow Room).
The Warehouse is the place to be on Wednesdays (6:30-8:00), as we challenge and equip students with the truth of scripture. Each week we will fellowship together through games and activities, vesper-style worship, bible teaching, and small group discussions. This is an excellent opportunity for students to get plugged-in to gospel-centered community.
